Nest Indesign is the creation of Jennifer Ringl, owner and founder of Nest of Grand Traverse. Nest of Grand Traverse was open in 2002 in the center of downtown Traverse City and enjoyed 20 years of success as a fine furniture and home furnishings retail and interior design boutique. As Nest’s design clients, fine home builders and architects have grown into a thriving clientele, a natural progression evolved into Nest Indesign. The unique collection of fine furniture, lighting, wall decor and accessories that has been collected over the past 20 years has built the library of resources that will continue on as the foundation for the new interior design studio. Nest Indesign, an interior design firm, is the next exciting chapter for Nest.
A little history….
After 30 years of experience in the commercial and residential design field, Jennifer Ringl, Allied ASID, saw a need for professional design services and fine home furnishings in the Grand Traverse Area. Commercial clients include the Grand Traverse Golf and Country Club to Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors. NEST’s residential clients span from the Leelanau Peninsula to Grand Traverse County and from Old Mission Peninsula to the Big Island of Hawaii. NEST designers are required to have four year degrees in Interior Design assuring our clients receive professional services from designers who are experienced and understand construction and the building process. We celebrate the opportunity design gives us to listen to our client’s needs, and then to translate those ideas into a unique and beautiful design. A well designed space should elevate those within it, seamlessly connecting aesthetics with functionality.
